Welcome to D.C. Reeves Elementary School. I'm so glad you are visiting our web site. My name is Pat J. Williams and I am the principal of one of the best schools in Tangipahoa Parish and the entire state of Louisiana. (But of course, I am just a little bit partial. ) Our school is located in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, a small community located about 60 miles north of New Orleans and 45 miles east of Baton Rouge.

We have approximately 650 hard-working, energetic and enthusiastic third and fourth graders. As Walter Elias Disney said in 1959, "Our greatest natural resource is the minds of our children." In our mission statement you will see how we value this resource.

Our faculty consists of 40 wonderful teachers who are always ready to guide the children on the road to becoming life long learners.

Patriotism is an important part of school life at D.C.Reeves. Flags, stars and stripes, and red, white, and blue can be found throughout our school as well as on these web pages.
