D.C. Reeves Drama Club

The Drama Club was established during the 1996-97 school year by Mrs. Nancy Bass and Mrs. Vickie Welch. Tryouts were held at the beginning of the school year and 30 third and fourth graders were chosen. Initial training was provided by Mr. Kerry Onxley, a nationally known children's drama teacher and coach. Children attended a Saturday workshop with Mr. Onxley and several college students in which they learned make-up and mime techniques. The drama club is in the process of rehearsal for their end of the year production, "How To Eat Like A Kid," to be held on May 15, 1997.
