D.C. Reeves 4-H Club

The D.C. Reeves 4-H Club has 48 fourth grade members. The club is sponsored by Mrs. Michelle Fontenot, librarian. The 4-H meets monthly with planned programs in conjunction with Tangipahoa Parish 4-H leaders. Members have several projects and contests that they participate in throughout the school year. Some of them are: Beef Poster Contest, Egg Cookery Contest, Sew with Cotton Contest, Seafood Cookery Contest, canned food drive, recycling aluminum cans, visiting nursing homes, and Tangipahoa Parish 4-H Achievement Day. The 1996-97 4-H officers are: Annette Zacharia - president; Heidi Hamel - Vice President; Matt Moore - Vice President Community; Emily Burns - Vice President School; Lauren Pevey - Secretary; Maggie Dimaggio - Treasurer; Kayla Ernst - Treasurer; Alicia Beyl - Parliamentarian;
